Our Events

We attend 2 main types of events. Public Living History where we set up displays and teach the public about history and Private Tactical Events where we simulate combat and general field living.

Below, is our main event list with photographs of the events. New Photos will be added after the events so check back regularly.

Fort Mifflin

Fort Mifflin in Philidelphia is a regular event for the unit. The fort is an old American Revolution era fort with barracks for our use. With a private tactical in January and a public Eastern Front event in May the unit is able to experience barracks life at least twice a year.

Newville

The GWA site in Newville, Pennsylvania is all trenches, barbed wire, and trails. This site is designed for close combat. In March, they host a 1945 Eastern Front Event

MAAM Reading Airshow

The MAAM Airshow is our first all out event of the year. With planes, vendors, and the most public of any event. The Reading Airshow is our main event every year. This full force event is the first full weekend of June every year.

Jacobsburg WW2 Weekend

A smaller more relaxed event in Nazareth, PA. Our unit portrays members of the German Army during the fighting in Italy from 1943-1945.

Schafferstown WW2 Weekend

Once of the few Immersion events the unit does. The group digs in and lives in the positions during the weekend.

Ma and Pa Railroad.

A smaller public display event at an old train station. Our unit does 1944-1945 Italian Front

Hazelton Tactical

Our last event of the year. The Hazelton event does Operation Varsity in March. In the fall they run a 2 front event where the Germans must fight back both Soviets and the Western Allies. With the site being an old mine in the mountains, there are many different angles to attack and defend.
