Our History

With the formation of the unit in 2018, we have slowly been expanding our ranks and equipment. With a recent expansion of a field hospital and female roles, new members have options besides being riflemen.

Our Start

With 6 members at the start it has been a steady growth to what we are now.

The Original 6

After a unit began to fall apart, the original founding members would form the unit, originally known as the 79th Infantrie Division, Infantrie Regiment 208.

Expansion

In 2022-2023 the unit would expand in the post Covid years. With 8 new members and the first unit vehicle, going into the 2024 season all was going good.

Verlorene Genration

In summer 2024, the unit would begin to pivot to a new face. With a rename and transition from infantry to pioneer, the new Verlorene Generation Living History Group would begin its new life.

Our Sections

Our unit has 3 main sections. Pioneer, Medical, and our Female Corps.

Pioneer

The Heer Pioneers were the engineers of the army. Construction, destruction and assaults were their specialty.

Medical

With the formation of the unit's field hospital. Our medical section has a nice mix of original and reproduction medical equipment of the war.

Women's Corps

Our unit is not made entirely of men. We have a few women who portray medical staff, secretaries, and Luftwaffe Crew
